This workout is filled with a blast of high energy to build your cardiovascular fitness, burn calories, and lose weight in a high-intensity, fun atmosphere. Instructor Belinda Davis combines low/high cardio favorites with kickboxing moves. Each cardio blast starts with a familiar large muscle-group moves like repeaters, jogs, and jumping jacks which is followed by a series of jab/kick combinations.
Enrollment is $48 per person. Drop-ins are welcome if class space is available. Drop-ins are $8 per person. Call Leisure Services at 313-387-2650 for more information on registering.
Class dates for winter are as follows:
Ages 16 & up:
- Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Redford Community Center.
- Winter session: Jan. 9 - Mar. 13 (no class Jan. 16 or Feb. 20)
- Spring session: Mar. 20 - May 22 (no class April 17 or April 24)
- Summer session: June 5 - August 7 (no class June 19 or July 3)
