This new fitness class is geared towards the beginner fitness enthusiast, or those looking to break back into exercise. In this class you will be primarily seated in a chair. You will work on strengthening your cardiovascular system with light weights/bands. You will also practice exercises that target your coordination and balance.
Enrollment is $31.50 per person. Registration begins 4 weeks prior to class start date. Call Leisure Services at 313-387-2650 for more information on registering.
Class dates for winter and spring are as follows:
Ages 55+ (but all are welcome)
- Tuesdays from 12:15 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Redford Community Center.
- Winter session #2: Feb. 14 - Mar. 28
- Spring session #1: Apr. 18 - May 30
