This class combines upper and lower body toning using 3-5lb dumbbells. The workout includes core-conditioning and aerobic-paced movements. Trim your waistline and make everyday activities easier by strengthening all the muscles that flex, extend, rotate, and stabilize your torso. Class ends with a soothing stretch.
Enrollment is $48 per person. Drop-ins are welcome if class space is available. Drop-ins are $8 per person. Call Leisure Services at 313-387-2650 for more information on registering.
Class dates for fall and winter are as follows:
Ages 16 & up:
- Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Redford Community Center.
- Fall: September 20 - November 22 (no class 9/27 & 10/18)
- Mini Session: December 6 - December 20 (3 weeks for $20)
- Winter: January 24 - March 20 (no class 2/7)
