Your Path to better heath can start here with your 1st step. We will have intervals that alternate with walking and with exercises that helps our posture, core and leg strength in this non-choreographed, work at your own pace class. Maintain your independence by staying strong and stable. Join Certified Fitness Specialist/ trainer Bonnie in this relaxed and social class! Remaining physically fit provides whole body benefits, reduces the risk of falls and maintains social emotional wellbeing. Older adults who exercise regularly are less likely to depend on others. Participating in regular exercise promotes the ability to walk, bathe, cook, eat, and helps reduce the risk of falling. Meet new people and have fun while doing something positive for your wellbeing. Participants should be able to walk 10+ minutes continuously. Weather permitting we may occasionally walk outdoors. Items required: comfortable clothes, athletic shoes, water & fun attitude. Also maybe a joke to tell. New to class: please arrive early so Bonnie can meet you & you’ll have time to fill out papers.
