This class will work on increasing your mobility, strength, balance, and heart health. After a cardiovascular segment you will work with light hand weights, bands, bodyweight, and cognitive drills for brain health.
Enrollment per person varies depending on class length. 7 week classes are $35. 8 week classes are $40. Sign up dates are listed below. Call Leisure Services at 313-387-2650 for more information on registering.
Class dates for fall and winter are as follows:
Ages 55+ (all are welcome):
- Fridays from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Redford Community Center.
- Fall series: September 29 - November 17 (registration begins 9/5)
- Winter series 1: December 1 - January 19 (no class 12/29) (registration begins 10/31)
- Winter series 2: February 9 - March 22 (registration begins 1/9)
