Join a youth basketball coach for six weeks packed with basketball. Youth will learn proper technique and form, including dribbling, shooting, defense and teamwork. An emphasis will be placed on teaching skills so that students an participate effectively.
Enrollment is $50 per child. Classes will be held at Hilbert Middle school or alternative where noted. ALL registration is done at the RCC. Call Leisure Services at 313-387-2650 for more information on registering.
Sessions for the spring and summer are as follows:
Ages 6-9:
- Tuesdays from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at Beech Elementary School
- Summer Session #2: July 11 - August 15
Ages 10-14:
- Thursdays from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at Beech Elementary School
- Summer Session #2: July 13 - August 17
