Rose Garden
April 14: Construction of the Rose Garden begins (photos attached).
April 18: Concrete walkway and gazebo surface being poured.
April 17, 2008: Underground electrical work completed and concrete forming continuing.
April 22, 2008: Stamped concrete being poured by contractor (Qualified Construction) on this beautiful April day.
April 23, 2008: Stamped concrete poured and being finished by the contractor (Qualified Construction). New sidewalk completed and ready for backfilling.
May 7, 2008: The gazebo has arrived on site and the contractor is beginning assembly. The landscape contractor is progressing nicely too. Installation of the metal edging for the rose beds is moving forward.
May 7, 2008: The construction of the 20 x 20 gazebo is half way done and looking great. The roof and final touches are next.

May 21, 2008: Landscaping materials (roses, shrubs, etc) are delivered to the site and are ready for installation by the contractor (JonBoy Landscaping). Looking nice.
May 27, 2008: The Downtown Development Authority Rose Garden project is complete. After months of planning and construction, the newest addition to the DDA is open to the public. We hope that the residents and visitors to our great community enjoy the beautiful roses and breathtaking picture opportunities.
